Accessibility
At our facility, we prioritize accessibility to ensure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable.
The accessible stall has an automatic door that is over 32” in width. It can accommodate a power wheelchair with 810mm of clear floor space for lateral transfer to toilet. There is a grab bar for the toilet. The shower has a half inch lip at its entry and a foldable bench. The shower head is adjustable and detachable. The sink faucet is accessible in a wheelchair but is not motion activated.
All hallway spaces are a minimum of 36” in width, with our main studio hallway being 6ft wide.
While our studio doors have a small lip on the floor (less than an inch) for soundproofing purposes, we understand that this may pose a challenge for individuals using wheelchairs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and are actively exploring solutions to minimize this barrier. The studio door is double width for the purpose of soundproofing. Our instructors are in charge of opening and closing the door at the beginning and end of class.
At this time anyone under the age of 16 is not permitted. Any persons under the age of 18 will need to have their parent or guardian sign our liability waiver. There is no age maximum.
Our washroom/ change room is a completely gender neutral space. It has individual stalls for toilets and showers with doors that close and lock completely. We ask that people refrain from nudity in the communal washroom space. There are two toilet stalls, three shower stalls, and one accessible stall with a toilet and shower.

This depends and is another invitation for you to listen to your body and use common sense. We encourage movement for all humxns, and we also suggest that you check in with your health care provider. Pre-natal specific classes are not something we currently offer, and we offer lots of options that would be beneficial for your pregnant body. Grounded Yoga would be a great class to attend while pregnant, as well as Unhurried Yoga or On the Ground (Mat Pilates). Most of our classes can be modified to meet you where you are at. Check in with us at the front or give us a call to find out which of our instructors have the most pre-natal experience
Depending on your injury - yes. We recommend checking with your healthcare provider before any physical activity that might activate a new or critical injury. If it is a mild or old injury please let your instructor know before class starts, and let them know what the injury is, this way they can help to modify certain movements for you. Ultimately, you know your body best – so common sense is key. Take a look at the class type before you sign up to make sure it will work for you.
Please note that our instructors and care team are unable to offer specific medical advice. While they are knowledgeable and well-trained in their respective fields, they are not qualified medical professionals. Your health and well-being are our top priority, and we encourage you to prioritize your safety by seeking professional medical guidance when needed.
You are a shape, because you have a body, and that means you are nailing it so far! Your body is your body, and it Is the least interesting thing about you. That means however you arrive, and whatever your experience with movement is perfect. Body neutrality is a key driver to what we offer, so come as you are, because you are enough, and the shape of your body is awesome.
